Through research, education and policy programs, the Organic Seed Alliance (OSA) has built new alliances between farmers, university researchers and extension agents, seed companies, and other seed professionals. These relationships have strengthened the development of organic seed and breeding systems with direct results of increased farmer contracts for seed production, increased farmer involvement in plant breeding, and increased funding for organic breeding and seed research.
